PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery power supply having a long life by suppressing deterioration in characteristics by performing appropriate restriction control on a single battery in the case of charge/discharge operation by monitoring voltage states of single batteries and a battery pack composed of the single batteries, where deterioration in characteristics of a part of the single batteries affects life of the entire battery pack.SOLUTION: A battery power supply charge/discharge control device comprising battery voltage detection means for respectively detecting voltage (single battery voltage) of individual single batteries constructing a battery power supply and voltage (battery pack voltage) of a battery pack in the case of charging/discharging the battery power supply monitors both of the single battery voltage and the battery pack voltage detected by the voltage detection means; restricts charge voltage from a normal power supply so as to make both or one of the single battery voltage and the battery pack voltage be not more than upper limit voltage set in advance respectively in the case of charging the battery power supply; and restricts supply power to a load so as to make both or one of the single battery voltage and the battery pack voltage be not less than lower limit voltage set in advance respectively in the case of discharging the battery power supply. |
