PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation responsiveness of a variable valve timing mechanism while improving fuel economy, in a control device of a variable capacity type oil pump which supplies operation oil to the variable valve timing mechanism.SOLUTION: A control device of a variable capacity type oil pump supplies working oil to a VVT. When an oil temperature of the working oil is not lower than 40°C, target discharge oil pressure Pt is set so that discharge oil pressure becomes high as the oil temperature becomes high, and when the oil temperature of the working oil is lower than 40°C, the target discharge oil pressure Pt is set so that the discharge oil pressure becomes high as the oil temperature becomes low. |
