METHOD FOR GENERATING A PAIR OF DISPARITY-COHERENT WATERMARKS

A method for generating a pair of disparity coherent left and right watermarks for a 3D video pair of left and right views is disclosed. The method computing a central depth map associated to a central view located in the middle of left and right views; and obtaining a pair of disparity coherent left and right watermarks by warping a reference watermark from the central view to the left and right views using the central depth map. A method for watermarking a pair of left and right views using the generated disparity coherent watermark, and devices implementing the disclosed methods are further described.
