The assembly has a cable whose tension is obtained by displacement along a bar-shaped toothed rack (20) of a housing (18). The housing has a pinion crank system to cooperate with the rack that is adjustable in slope at articulation axes. A pinion is moved along the axes under the action of a crank (32) to regulate the tension. A braking unit prevents displacement of the housing along the rack by rotational blocking of the pinion. The unit has a rocker operating directly on the pinion and a pawl, so that the pawl is actuated to remove the pinion only when the rocker is in a released position. |
