The device has pressure chambers (13, 26) i.e. receiving chambers, arranged within a working spindle (1) and subjected with pressure fluid to subject a tensioning rod (2) in a clamping direction by front and rear transverse holes (16, 27) and a central longitudinal hole (17). Other longitudinal boreholes (41) are arranged in the rod adjacent to the holes that supply the fluid. Cooling lubricant is led to a central hole in a connecting rod via the boreholes, where the connecting rod is connected with a front end of the tensioning rod. A tension spring (4) is arranged in the chambers. |
