The method involves injection molding of a first tube element (16), and mounting a fabric tube (30) over the tube element. A second tube element (42) is injection molded to first tube element and superimposed fabric tube. The plastic material selected for injection molding of first tube element is harder than the plastic material selected for injection molding of second tube element. A projecting tube portion (38) of first tube element is held stationary and clamped. The projecting tube portion is removed prior to use of pressure tube (12).
