PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable large current discharge in an electrochemical cell using a small exterior container.SOLUTION: An electrochemical cell is composed of: an exterior container comprising a base 1 and a lid 6; a cell 7 housed in the base 1; and an electrolyte. The electrochemical cell has pad films 2 formed on an inner side surface of the base 1 and composed of at least one valve metal; and connection terminals 4 provided on an outer side surface of the base 1 and electrically connecting with the pad films 2. Cell leads 8, which are extension parts of the cell, are respectively connected with the pad films 2 through welding. |
