PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction tank attachment structure which facilitates attachment and detachment of a suction tank to and from a unit body and does not negatively affect a control device and functional bodies other than a drain mechanism such as water distribution pipes by filthy water spilled out of a soil pipe in the detachment of a vacuum tank.SOLUTION: A suction tank attachment structure to a unit for a dental treatment apparatus comprises: a suction tank drain pipe protruded in the back of a lower part of a cylindrical suction tank; a drain pipe fitting part provided on a unit body for inserting/fitting the suction tank drain pipe; and a catching mechanism for locking the fitting of the drain pipe fitting part and the suction tank drain pipe. The catching mechanism comprises: an engagement protrusion protruded in the back of a suction tank body; two columnar engagement members which hold the engagement protrusion tightly from both sides; and a spring body which acts in a direction where the two columnar engagement members are joined. The spring body is firmly fixed on an upper surface of the drain pipe fitting part by a short arm. |
