This invention relates to an insulation panel for a cavity wall and a method of manufacturing same. The insulation panel comprises a polymer foam core and a pair of facers bonded thereto. The insulation panel further comprises a breathable membrane having a vapour resistance less than or equal to 0.60 MN.s/g bonded to one of the facers. The breathable membrane is dimensioned to extend beyond a lower and an adjacent side edge of the polymer foam core in an L-shaped breathable membrane tab. In this way, the breathable membrane provides a waterproof barrier for the polymer foam core and the breathable membrane tab prevents water passing through to an inner layer of blockwork through the gaps between adjacent insulation panels.
