PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase transmission torque and to improve responsibility with a simple structure in a free-type bidirectional clutch in which a transmission condition is changed according to a power transmitting direction between input and output shafts.SOLUTION: An input shaft 2 and an output shaft 3 including a common rotating shaft, are disposed inside of a fixed housing 1. A disc member 21 having a plurality of hole portions 21H is fastened to the input shaft 2, and an actuator 6 having pins 6P engaged with the hole portions 21H is eccentrically fitted to the output shaft 3. In rotating the input shaft 2, the disc member 21, the actuator 6 and the output shaft 3 are kept in a locked state, and the rotation of the input shaft 2 is transmitted to the output shaft 3. On the contrary, in rotating the output shaft 3, the center of the actuator 6 is moved (revolved) on the circumference by an eccentric wheel 3E of the output shaft 3, but the actuator 6 does not rotate, so that rotation torque does not act on the disc member 21. That is, the input shaft 2 is not rotated even when the output shaft 3 is rotated, and power transmission is blocked.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
