PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed detection device capable of detecting stroke speed of a damper accurately.SOLUTION: The speed detection device determines stroke speed Vd of a damper D based on a displacement sensor 2 for detecting relative displacement X of a spring upper member B and a spring lower member W of a vehicle, attenuation coefficient of the damper D interposed between the spring upper member B and the spring lower member W, and the relative displacement X for achieving the above-mentioned purpose. |
