PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead acid battery having excellent thermal characteristics.SOLUTION: To obtain such a structure that the thickness of a continuous portion 25 of a terminal pole column 24 and a pole column seat 28 becomes thicker gradually toward the terminal pole column 24, in a lead acid battery constituted by housing a polar plate group 20, formed by laminating a positive electrode plate 21A and a negative electrode plate 21B alternately with a separator interposed therebetween, in a battery jar, and connecting the terminal pole column 24 with a polar plate collector 23 consisting of a strap 29 coupling the lug group of polar plates of the same polarity and the pole column seat 28. |
