PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion material which exhibits excellent properties as an electron donor or an electron acceptor.SOLUTION: A polyphenylene having a compound, as a structural unit, represented by the general formula (1) in the figure, where R1 to R8 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, alkyl group or alkoxy group, is further reacted to produce a polymer (graphene). The polymer acts as a donor (photoelectric conversion material). An acceptor is, e.g., phenyl-C-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM). The polymer can be used also as an electron acceptor. |
