An air conditioner is provided with a blowing-out opening (9) at the front surface of the upper part of a unit body. Relative to the blowing-out opening (9), an air passage (12) is formed in the unit body along a vertical direction. Temperature-adjusted conditioning air which circulates in a heat exchanger (13) in the air passage (12) is vertically adjusted for changing the direction. The conditioning air is blown to indoor space from the blowing-out opening (9). In the vertically changed area of the air passage (12) which corresponds with the lower part of the blowing-out opening (9), guiding blades (24) of which the lower parts that faces the blowing-out opening (9) is bent smoothly approximately are arranged. The air conditioner has the functions of: restricting peeling-off of an air current near a corner part at the lower part of the blowing-out opening which vertically changes flowing direction of the conditioning air vertically, realizing air volume increase and noise reduction, and performing stable control on the air current with increased air volume at the lower part of the blowing-out opening. |
