PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain and a sludge scraper capable of enhancing shear strength of a connection pin for connecting mutual chain links.SOLUTION: A projection part 22a for mutually connecting chain links 22 of the same shape, is respectively separately provided by two or more along a width direction in both-side end parts of the chain links 22, and these both- side projection parts 22a are arranged in a zigzag shape along the width direction in a plan view, and the other side projection part 22a of he adjacent chain link 22 is approached between the mutual projection parts 22a and 22a of one side end part of the one chain link 22, and a mating surface (an opposed surface) X in the width direction of the mutual projection parts 22a and 22a for making shear force act, is increased from conventional two places by adopting a constitution for mutually rotatably connecting by inserting a connection pin 21 into these projection parts 22a, and thereby, the shear force acting on the connection pin 21 is dispersed more than usual, and as a result of it, the shear strength of the connection pin 21 is enhanced. |
