PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hem sealing device for manufacturing a packaging body with a hem seal part in a series of packaging steps.SOLUTION: The hem sealing device includes: a folded line forming and heating part 51 forming a mountain fold line 21b and a valley fold line 21d at a hem seal forming part along the conveying direction of a belt-like film 21 whose one surface is a sealant surface and heating a film part including the mountain fold line and the valley fold line; and a pair of press rollers provided to the downstream side of the folded line forming and heating part 51 and performing heat seal by pressurizing a film part 21c between the mountain fold line and the valley fold line, formed by folding the belt-like film by the mountain fold line and the valley line to be folded and superposed on the belt-like film, together with the other film part 21d of the belt-like film. By forming the pair of mountain fold line and valley fold line, the film part interposed therebetween can be made to fall in a desired direction. |
