PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint apparatus for a gradient road surface that can absorb the swaying due to the earthquake without causing the tip part of a joint plate to crash into obstructions or to cross over boundaries when a joint part becomes narrow, even if the obstructions and the boundaries are present in the vicinity of the tip part of the joint plate.SOLUTION: A joint apparatus for a gradient road surface is constituted of: a slide support recess formed in one road surface of left and right road surfaces having a gradient provided through a joint part; a support plate slidably provided in the slide support recess; one joint plate with a rear end attached to an anti-joint side of the slide support recess, and with a tip part supported in the support plate; and the other joint plate with the rear end supported by the other road surface of the left and right road surfaces, and with the tip part supported by the support plate. When the joint part swings in the direction narrowed by an earthquake, the one joint plate and the other joint plate are characterized in that the swaying can be absorbed without colliding the obstructions on the road surface or crossing over the boundaries.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
