Disclosed are a file trimming method, terminal and server, belonging to the technical field of computers, and particularly relating to the field of electronic file display. The method comprises: sending a file identifier of a corresponding file, and the file comprising at least one page; receiving a trimming data packet fed back according to the file identifier, and the trimming data packet comprising trimming data of at least one page in the file; and trimming the file according to the trimming data packet. The terminal comprises a first sending module, a first receiving module and a trimming module. The server comprises a third receiving module, a first detecting module and a feedback module. By adopting the file trimming method, the problem that the trimming area of each page in the file needs to be detected in real time according to an algorithm to occupy a large amount of resources in the trimming operation of the file is solved, and an effect of improving the trimming efficiency of the file is improved. |
