A method comprising: using a computer, receiving an indication of an emergency state with respect to a building; obtaining an image of an interior of the building from a camera in an emergency personnel client device; identifying a location and orientation of the camera based on image recognition of the image; identifying sensory data from one or more sensors associated with emergency equipment in the building; identifying constraints based on the sensory data, the constraints including limitations on travel routes of emergency personnel; determining a route from the identified location satisfying the constraints determined from the sensory data, wherein the route is updated in light of most recent sensory data from the one or more sensors, and wherein the route is a real time fastest route calculated using the constraints, the most recent sensory data, and aggregated data for the building including floor plan data and location data for emergency response equipment; and causing the emergency personnel client device to display the route and sensory data on the emergency personnel client device overlaid on a live image obtained from the camera.
