The device (1) has a meat tube (2) that is insertable with meat pieces. The inserted meat pieces are looped with a thread unwound from a thread storage device, by using a clinch wheel (4). The looped meat pieces are knotted and cut to length by using a thread interlocking and aggregate section (7). The thread interlocking and aggregate section is laterally offset with respect to a side wall (16). The meat tube and the clinch wheel are arranged in a housing (6). A collecting container (15) is arranged below the metal tube and/or the clinch wheel. |
