The invention relates to the art of cleaning the soles of shoes, and more particularly to devices for cleaning the soles of shoes of contaminants, inter alia chemical, radioactive and biological contaminants, using a jet of air (or another agent) under pressure and with the possible addition of detergents and disinfectants, and also applying a vacuum to the area undergoing cleaning. A pneumatic shoe sole cleaner comprises: a high-pressure chamber adapted for connection to a means for supplying a stream of cleaning agent, said chamber comprising a plurality of openings, each of which is provided with a rod that is capable of downward movement when pressure is applied thereto and of returning to its starting position, said rod having an upper part with an upper edge and a lower part with a lower edge; and a low-pressure chamber adapted for connection to a means for exhausting a stream of cleaning agent and contaminants, said chamber comprising a supporting grille. The upper part of a rod is equipped with a means for providing a gap between the sole of a shoe and the upper edge of the rod when pressure is applied, and the supporting grille is equipped, in the upper part thereof, with a plurality of wells. Meanwhile, the lower edge of the rod is enclosed by an element for sealing the high-pressure chamber. Technical result: a simplified design and an increase in the reliability of the device, i.e. an increase in the service life and durability of the device and an increase in the safety thereof for human health, together with better quality cleaning of a shoe of contaminants. |
