The present invention provides a method for data transmission and a related device. The method comprises: a first device determining first transmission resources and second transmission resources according to a transmission pattern, the first and the second transmission resources corresponding to different positions in the transmission pattern in a time domain; the first device transmitting, on the first transmission resources, the status information of the first device to a second device, and transmitting, on the second transmission resources, the status information to the second device, and during one transmission of every two adjacent transmissions of the first device, a first position being orthogonal to a second position in the time domain, and/or during the other one of the every two adjacent transmissions, a third position being orthogonal to a fourth position in the time domain; and the first transmission resources and the second transmission resources being resources used in the every two adjacent transmissions of the status information by the first device, and the time delay of discovering each other between the first device and the second device being effectively reduced. |
