The invention relates to a headlight (1) for a motor vehicle, comprising a first light module (A) which is accommodated in a first carrying frame (10) and comprising at least one second light module (B) which is accommodated in a second carrying frame (11), wherein a headlight range adjustment device (12) having an adjustment element (13) is provided, which adjustment element extends between the headlight range adjustment device (12) and the first carrying frame (10) in an adjustment axis (14), and wherein the adjustment element (13) has a ball head (15) which is accommodated, by way of a ball head receptacle (16), on the first carrying frame (10), and wherein a coupling element (17) is provided, with which coupling element the first carrying frame (10) is connected to the second carrying frame (11). According to the invention, a joint piece (18) having a ball socket (19) is provided and said joint piece is arranged on the first carrying frame (10), wherein a ball head (20) of the coupling element (17) is accommodated in the ball socket (19), and wherein the joint piece (18) is arranged on the first carrying frame (10) in such a way that the adjustment axis (14) of the adjustment element (13), when extended, runs through the ball head (20) of the coupling element (14). |
