A server for providing security for a computer network via a network switch, the server being configured to: receive rules for filtering network data traffic that is received at the switch, wherein the rules relate to at least two network security technologies; apply the rules at the network switch; receive information from the network switch indicating details of network data traffic received at the switch; determine, from a comparison of the rules applied at the network switch under one of the network security technologies with information received from the network switch in relation to another of the network security technologies, whether a data leakage has occurred; and add a new rule to the existing rules for filtering network data traffic to prevent a reoccurrence of the data leakage. |
