The invention relates to a locating device for locating a live locating object (12a; 12b; 12c), comprising a reference receiving means (14a; 14b) that is provided to receive a reference coupling signal (16b) from the locating object (12a; 12b; 12c), a first receiving means (18a; 18b; 20b; 18c; 20c; 18d; 20d; 18e-24e) that is provided to receive a first coupling signal from the locating object (12a; 12b; 12c), at least one second receiving means (26a; 26b; 28b; 26c; 28c; 26d; 28d; 26e-32e) that is provided to receive a second coupling signal from the locating object (12a; 12b; 12c), and at least one first amplifier unit (34a; 34b) that is provided to amplify in at least one operating state a difference of the reference coupling signal (16b) relative to an at least essentially constant reference potential (36a; 36b; 36c). According to the invention the locating device has at least one second amplifier unit (38a; 38b; 38c), which is intended to amplify in at least one operating state a signal difference (42b, 44b) between the first coupling signal and the second coupling signal independently of the reference coupling signal (16b). |
