METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING VOICE IN PARTY-LINE TELEPHONE SYSTEM

Disclosed is a method for transmitting voice in a party-line telephone system and the method is applied to nodes in a chain network. The method includes: encoding a voice signal of a user in the present node, and transmitting the encoded voice signal of the user in the present node on a line; determining, according to the location of the present node in the chain network, whether to forward the encoded voice signal received on the line; mixing encoded voice signals which are received on the line and are the encoded voice signals of users in other nodes, decoding the mixed signal and then transmitting the decoded signal to the user in the present node.
