Disclosed is a new use of a 2-(4-(benzo[d]thiazole-2-yl)-2-bromo-6-methoxyphenoxy) acetic acid. In particular, the 2-(4-(benzo[d]thiazole-2-yl)-2-bromo-6-methoxyphenoxy) acetic acid of the present invention has the effect of MIF inhibitor, can significantly inhibit the release of inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α and NO) induced by LPS, and can also inhibit the chemotactic migration of macrophages caused by MIF and also the phosphorylation of ERK1/2, so that same can be used to prepare an anti-inflammatory drug related to MIF.
