The invention comprises a reusable absorbent structure comprising a storage layer at least partially made of one or more absorbing yarns comprising superaborbent fibers, said superabsorbent fibers expanding when absorbing fluids, wherein reinforcing yarns are arranged in the storage layer for retaining the absorbing yarn. The absorbing yarns may be rib knitted together with the reinforcing yarns, whereby the rib knitted yarns are arranged as longitudinal knitted ribs, and the absorbing yarns may be arranged for expanding in a direction perpendicular to the longitude of the ribs. |
