This drug packaging device (1) is provided with a supply unit (2) for supplying solid drugs, a storage unit (3) for receiving, and temporarily storing, solid drugs supplied from the supply unit (2), and a packaging unit (6) for packaging solid drugs discharged from the storage unit (3). The supply unit (2), the storage unit (3) and the packaging unit (6) are arranged in that order from above. The storage unit (3) is provided with multiple storage containers (33) which have a bottom portion (333) that can open and close by moving in the horizontal direction, a holding platform (32) which holds the storage containers (33) so as to be arranged in the same horizontal plane, and a drive unit (35) which drives movement of the holding base (32) such that each of the storage containers (33) held by the holding base (32) is moved horizontally between an introduction position (P1) for introducing solid drugs from the supply unit (2) and a discharge position (P3) for discharging solid drugs into the packaging unit (6). |
