The invention relates to a ship mast (1) with a flow-optimized profile (3, 3') which extends over the entire length of the mast. The flow-optimized profile is rotatably mounted by means of a bearing device (13) such that the profile can be rotated by 360°. At least one electric energy-generating element (12), which can generally be a flexible solar cell, is arranged on the surface (3') of the flow-optimized profile. Furthermore, at least one additional current-generating element (22), for example a wind generator, can be arranged in a groove (15) arranged in the rear region of the profile, said element being adjusted up and down according to wind conditions and being installable and removable as needed.
