A flexible flat cable (51) is provided with a plurality of conductive wires (52a), an insulative covering member (53), and a reinforcement plate (54). The plurality of conductive wires (52a) are each formed in a thin plate-like shape and are each disposed parallel to the direction perpendicular to the thickness direction of the plurality of conductive wires (52a). The insulative covering member (53) covers one surface (55a) of each of at least the plurality of conductive wires (52a) in the thickness direction. The reinforcement plate (54) covers and reinforces the front end section (56) of the other surface (55a) of the each of at least the plurality of conductive wires (52a) in the thickness direction. The other surfaces (55b) of the conductive wires (52a) in the thickness direction thereof have exposed surfaces (57) which are located at positions adjacent to the front end sections (56) and which are not covered with the reinforcement plate (54) and with the cover member (53).
