[Class 52 (ii)] In an adjustable sliding vehicle seat in which runners are supported in guides on the floor of the vehicle, one or each of the runners a carries a clamp c which embraces the runner and slidably engages suitably shaped edge parts of the guide b. Where two clamps are provided, one may comprise a saddle d bearing on the upper surface of the runner a under the action of a spring e and retained in the clamp by a pin f. The other clamp comprises a saddle g formed of two parts adapted to be drawn together by a screw and nut to secure the runner a to the guide b. The clamps may be secured to the runners by pins k, or may be free to slide on the runners.
