The invention relates to a transmission control device (1). Transmission control devices of said type usually have two opposite mating parts (2, 3), e.g. control blocks, and a flat transmission control plate (4) that is placed between the two mating parts (2, 3). The purpose of said transmission control plate (4) is to seal, in the form of a flat seal, the space between the two mating parts or between the duct portions (6, 7) and bores (6', 7') thereof and to provide passages (5) between ducts (6, 7) or bores (6', 7') in the opposite mating parts (2, 3), the fluid in the ducts controlling the function of the transmission. The sealing function is usually performed by embossed beads and/or partial coatings. Transmission control plates (4) thus have fluid passages via which the fluid can flow from one side of the transmission control plate to the other side thereof. Additional functional elements (30, 31), e.g. valve elements that block the flow in one direction, or combined valve-baffle elements that restrict the flow in one direction or both directions, can be provided in said type of passages. |
