BUCKLE PREVENTION RING

A buckle prevention ring assembly for use within a conduit, such as casing, having at least one buckle prevention ring may be provided. The buckle prevention ring may be bonded and may provide a fluid and gas tight seal to prevent fluid and gas from leaking out of the casing in a downhole environment.

1. A buckle prevention ring assembly, comprising:
a center portion of a central mandrel, wherein at least one buckle prevention ring surrounds the center portion; a packing element surrounding the center portion of the central mandrel; an inner diameter of a conduit and an outer diameter of a packer sealed using the at least one buckle prevention ring, wherein the conduit and the packer are fluid-tight and gas-tight; and the at least one buckle prevention ring bonded around a portion of an interior diameter of the packing element and arranged to provide an equal amount of a packing element material disposed above the at least one buckle prevention ring and below the at least one buckle prevention ring.
