The present invention relates to an implant configured for gastroenterology or urology, comprising: a plastic body, which is produced by injection moulding or extrusion, with a cross-sectional shape which extends along a longitudinal axis of the implant, wherein the plastic body has a body wall, wherein the body wall has one or more sides, and wherein the one or more sides have a total surface area; wherein the plastic body is configured by openings in the body wall and/or by the shape of the cross-sectional surface such that, in relation to a projection on a jacket surface of a circular cylinder surrounding the plastic body, the following property is provided: at least 70%, in particular at least 90%, of all points on the total surface area can be projected onto the jacket surface with a straight line that does not intersect the body wall; and a coating on the one or more sides, wherein the coating is a diamond-like carbon coating (DLC coating). |
