The present specification relates to an anti-viral composition and, more particularly, to a composition that both is antiviral and prevents and treats diseases associated with viruses, containing a peptide derived from a telomerase, thereby being effective in treating and preventing diseases associated with viruses and pathological symptoms caused by viruses. The peptide exhibits an effect of treating diseases associated with viruses by inhibiting the RNA replication of viruses, thereby being capable of providing a method that both is antiviral and prevents and treats diseases associated with viruses.
