This linear vibration motor is provided with fixed shafts, enabling said motor to vibrate more stably and benefit from superior impact resistance while being thinner or more compact in the width direction. The linear vibration motor 1 is provided with a movable element 10 comprising a magnet part 4 and weight parts 7, a frame body 2 that accommodates the movable element 10, coils 3 that are secured to the frame body 2 and drive the magnet part 4 in a uniaxial direction, elastic members 6 that impart an elastic force on the movable element 10, said force repelling a drive force imparted on the magnet part 4, and a pair of guide shafts 8 that are positioned in the uniaxial direction, and that are fixed to the frame body on one end and slidably support the movable element 10 on the free end side. |
