A human-face directed display system and method are applied to a portable electronic device. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, a portable electronic device starts up; step 2, a display apparatus displays content in an original direction; step 3, turn on an image capture apparatus to capture a user human-face image; step 4, determine the human-face direction according to the user human-face image; step 5, adjust the displayed content of the display apparatus to be consistent with the human-face direction. The method resolves the problem of the consistency between display content and the observation direction of a user, so that a displayed picture of an electronic device such as a television, a film, a projection system, a computer, a mobile phone, and a tablet is always consistent with the observation direction of the user, and optimal display experience is displayed to the user. |
