The feeding system (1) according to the invention is characterized in relation to known feeding systems in that the feeding station (5) has a coupling segment (12), by means of which the transport cart (6) can be coupled to the feeding station (5) using a coupling device (13), in such a way that a workpiece holder (8) retained in the transport cart (6) in the first retaining position (11) is brought into the holding position (9) after the transport cart (6) has been coupled to the coupling segment (12). The invention further relates to a method for feeding (1) workpieces (3) to a device (2) and to the use of a feeding system (1) according to the device claims.
