METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ENTRY MERGING IN DIRECTORY

Disclosed is a method for entry merging. The method comprises: determining N entries to be merged, wherein a buffer block indicated by an entry label of each entry in the N entries belongs to a merge scope, and the merge scope indicates 2a buffer blocks; and merging the N entries to be a first entry, wherein an entry label of the first entry indicates 2a buffer blocks, and the sharer number of the first entry comprises the sharer number of each entry in the N entries. By means of the method, entries in a directory can be effectively merged, and the usage efficiency of the directory is improved.
