A cash register comprising a machine frame (1). A display (2), a credit card terminal (3), and a base (4) respectively are provided on the top of the machine frame (1), in an engaging bay at the middle of same, and at the bottom extremity thereof. A button ejecting the engaging bay is provided on the credit card terminal (3). Bearings (15) are provided at the middle of a mounting plate (14) in a cavity at the bottom of the machine frame (1). The bottom of the machine frame (1) and the base (4) provided at the bottom extremity of the machine frame (1) are connected with each other via the bearings (15) and a connecting shaft (16) provided on the base (4) and fitting the bearings (15). Retaining holes (17) are provided on the base (4) at either side of the connecting shaft (16). A roller ball bearing (18) is provided in each of the retaining holes (17). A free extremity of spring one (19) connected with the corresponding roller ball bearing (18) is fixed onto the mounting plate (14). The cash register is easy to operate and convenient to use. The bottom of the machine frame (1) and the base (4) are connected with each other via the bearings (15), thus implementing leftward and rightward rotations of the entire machine. By means of a rotational resistance produced by interactions among the roller beads (18), spring one (19), and the retaining holes (17), rotation of the entire machine is stopped when rotated 180°, at which point the credit card terminal (3) and the display directly face the consumer, and the credit card terminal (3) is ejected by pressing the button on the machine frame to facilitate credit card swiping. |
