In order to provide a charging device that efficiently cools a battery pack, a charging device 1 is provided with: a case 2 having a bottom section, an upper section facing the bottom section, and a side surface section connecting the bottom section and the upper section to each other; a plurality of fans 5, 6 that are provided in the case; and a charging circuit unit 4, which is provided in the case, and is configured to charge a battery pack 3, said charging circuit unit having a heat generating element that generates heat when the battery pack 3 is charged.
