The present invention relates to a method for producing an organic solvent solution of an acrylic polymer, the method including a step of supplying an acrylic polymer slurry, which contains an acrylic polymer, water and an organic solvent, to a thin film evaporator 20 and thereby evaporating off the water in the acrylic polymer slurry to obtain an organic solvent solution of the acrylic polymer in which the acrylic polymer is dissolved in the organic solvent. The organic solvent has a higher boiling point than water, the thin film evaporator 20 is provided with a movable blade 26, and the centrifugal force per 100 mm of the axial direction length of the movable blade 26 is 0.1 N or more for a unit supply quantity of the acrylic polymer slurry to the thin film evaporator 20 of 1 kg/hr⋅m2. Due to this configuration, provided is a method for producing an organic solvent solution of an acrylic polymer, by which an organic solvent solution of an acrylic polymer, in which the acrylic polymer is dissolved in the organic solvent, can be obtained stably and efficiently from an acrylic polymer slurry that contains an acrylic polymer, water and an organic solvent. |
