The present invention relates to an improved method for preparing a zeolite-metal chloride hybrid moisture adsorbent applicable to dehumidifiers and moisture adsorbent-type refrigerators, and more particularly, provides an improved method for preparing a zeolite-metal chloride hybrid moisture adsorbent, wherein the method comprises a step for dissolving a metal chloride in water to prepare a first solution; a step for mixing a porous zeolite including a ferroaluminophosphate-based zeolite into the first solution to prepare a second solution; a step for spraying the second solution to form droplets having a specific average diameter; and a step for drying the droplets to prepare the moisture adsorbent. In addition, the present invention provides a method for preparing a moisture adsorbent composition for surface coating, wherein the method comprises a step for dispersing a moisture adsorbent in a dispersant to prepare a dispersion solution; a step for adding an epoxy-based binder resin to the dispersion solution; and a step for adding a hardener thereto. A moisture adsorbent material prepared using such a method is characterized in having a maximum moisture adsorption of 0.2 to 0.9 g-water/g-sorbent in the operating pressure range of an adsorption-type refrigerator of P/P0 = 0.1 to 0.3. |
