This document discloses a device (4) for stabilizing a monument (1), such as a tombstone. The device comprises a first connection, adapted for connection to an upper portion (51) of a ground anchor (5), a second connection, adapted for connection to a headpiece (3), or directly to the monument (1) or a monument base (2), and an arm (42) extending between and attached to the first and second connections (41, 43), the arm (42) extending substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal direction (Dc) of the ground anchor (41). The first connection (41) is adapted for transferring a torque acting about a horizontal axis to the upper portion (51) of the ground anchor (5). This torque corresponds to at least 75%, preferably at least 90%, of a torque provided by the weight of the monument (1, 2) acting on the second connection (43). |
