[Classes 75 (iii) and 75 (iv)] The lamp casing 9 is mounted on trunnions 30 in a carrier 8 detachably mounted on the battery casing 1 by engaging keyhole slots 33 in hinged wings 7 on studs 34 on the wall 28 and hinged door 10, the extension lead 5, connecting the lamp socket through a switch 16 to the batteries 12, and a head band 4, permanently connected at one end 6 to a wing 7, being normally housed in a compartment 3 in the battery casing. The head band 4 is passed through a slot in the casing 1 adjacent the end 6, the free end of the band being adapted to be attached to a stud on the other wing 7. A rubber, felt, &c. lining strip 35 is secured at its ends to the wings 7 by studs 36 engaging resilient bars 37. A handle 21 is slidably mounted in a resilient sheet metal guide 18, and is provided with slots 23, 24 for the lead 5 and the sliding switch button 17 and a keyhole slot 25 for suspending the lamp from a nail &c. The casing 1 is also provided with a pivoted foot 26 and a spring clip 29 for attaching it to a belt. |
