PRODUCTION OF CERAMIC GREEN SHEET

PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing a ceramic green sheet by which the occurrence of cavities can be inhibited without reducing productivity. CONSTITUTION:Ceramic powder as starting material is kneaded with a binder to form body, this body is extrusion-molded and the resulting sheetlike molded body is dried by heating in a drying furnace to produce a ceramic green sheet. At the time of forming the body, a drying aid made of a polyol compd. or polyalkylene oxide and a mold releasing agent made of monomolecular glycol are added to the ceramic powder.
