An image processing device includes the following elements. An inputted-character identifying unit identifies characters inputted by a user from plural items of image information. A character-input-column identifying unit identifies a character input column from the plural items of image information. An inputted-character-amount obtaining unit obtains an amount of inputted characters in each of character input columns located at different positions. A size-information obtaining unit obtains information concerning a size of each of the character input columns. An adjusting unit adjusts the size of each of the character input columns in accordance with the amount of inputted characters in the corresponding character input column and the information concerning the size of the corresponding character input column. |
