The brake (1) has an outer part (11) comprising an inner tooth (111), and an inner driver (12) comprising an outer tooth (121). An outer disk (13) has an outer tooth, and an inner disk (14) has an inner tooth. The inner disk has a friction lining turned towards the outer disk, and the outer disk has a friction lining turned towards the inner disk. An operating unit is provided for compressing the inner and outer disks, where one of the teeth is made from non-metallic material i.e. textile material. The friction lining of the inner disk or the outer disk is made from steel plates. The inner and outer disks are designed as composite disks. |
