An ostomy pouch 1 comprising a flexible waterproof bag 2,4 including an opening 10 for receiving a stoma, and a liquid outlet 62 configured to drain liquid from the bag, wherein the bag includes a filter 63 arranged to prevent solid matter contained within the bag from entering the liquid outlet 62. The main chamber 44 may be used for both liquid and solid matter. The filter 63 may comprise a filter membrane with a plurality of apertures 66. The pouch 1 may include a second chamber 50 which collects the liquid. The device is particularly useful for a double barrelled wet colostomy (DBWC). |
